A' Tuscan Estate Bed and Breakfast Policies

Check-in: Anytime between 3:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. If you anticipate arriving in McMinnville earlier, please confirm with the innkeeper so that we may make every effort to have your room ready upon arrival. If early check-in is not available, we offer luggage storage until your room is ready.  For late arrivals (after 7:00 pm) please let us know so that we may arrange a late arrival packet for you.

Check-out: 11:00 a.m. Late check-outs may be arranged for a small fee.

Children: A’Tuscan Estate Bed & Breakfast welcomes children age 12 and older.

Additional Guest in Accommodation: All pricing is for up to two people per accommodation. The Tuscan Suite, the Vacation Cottage Suite and the Vacation Cottage Apartment may all accommodate an additional twin or queen luxury airbed. The Portofino Room may accommodate a twin luxury airbed. For each additional guest, there is a $50.00 per night charge.

Pets: We regret that A’Tuscan Estate Bed & Breakfast does not accept pets. Please contact the Tail Wag Inn in Dundee 503-554-9000 or 888-554-9025; or Pets Stop Inn in McMinnville 503-474-3647 for doggie accommodations. Both establishments can provide a safe and pleasant stay for your traveling companions.

What is a service animal?

The ADA defines a service animal as any dogs or miniature horses whose work or tasks directly related to the individual’s disability. If the animal meets this definition, the animal is considered a service animal under the ADA, regardless of whether the animal has been licensed or certified by a state or local government. A service animal is not a pet.  Service animals perform some of the functions and tasks that the individual with a disability cannot perform for him or herself.  Guide dogs are one type of service animal most people are familiar with.  But there are service animals that assist persons with other kinds of disabilities in their day-to-day activities. Some examples include:

-Alerting persons with hearing impairments to sounds.

–Pulling wheelchairs or carrying and picking up things for persons with mobility impairments.

-Assisting persons with mobility impairments with balance.

However, animals whose sole function is to provide emotional support, comfort, therapy, companionship, etc. are not “service animals” under the definition.

Minimum night stays: Weekends and holidays are subject to a minimum two or more night stay (depending on season). Special Event Weekends, Memorial Day Weekend and the International Pinot Noir Celebration may require three or more night stays.

Cancellations: If you find that you need to cancel or modify your reservation, please do so prior to seven (7) days from your arrival date to avoid any penalties. Cancellations/modifications occurring within seven (7) days of arrival will be charged in full. Any portion of the booking that is recouped will be credited back less a $50 processing fee. Full payment is charged the day prior to arrival.  Reservations for International Pinot Noir Celebration require cancellation/modification prior to 30 days of arrival to avoid full charge.  Whole property bookings require a $1500 deposit at the time of booking and cancellation/modification prior to 30 days of arrival to avoid full charge. We accept Master Card, Visa, American Express and Discover cards. We also offer gift certificates or re-bookings for a later date.  Please be advised that a late notice to abbreviate your stay is considered a cancellation.

Smoking: A’Tuscan Estate Bed & Breakfast is non-smoking (tobacco and marijuana) inside any area of the Bed and Breakfast. Smoking is allowed on patios and gardens 10 feet from any entrance (State Law) with provided ashtray and kind consideration for non-smoking guests. All interior areas of the Bed and Breakfast are monitored with smoke alarms. A $300 cleaning fee may occur if this policy is violated.

Payment: All major credit cards (American Express, Master Card, Visa and Discover) are accepted. We charge your credit card the day prior to arrival.  

Innkeeper: Owner/Innkeeper Erin Gilchrist, resides on property and is available for any assistance or special requests.
